Our membership

As of 2019, there are 71 members in our Guild. Being a member entitles you to the following benefits:

• The opportunity to take part in workshops with internal or external tutors of which are usually subsidised.

• An excellent lending library of books and magazines covering all three crafts.

• The opportunity to borrow equipment

• Automatic membership to the Association of Guilds of Weavers Spinners and Dyers. Through this you will be entitled to attend the bi-annual summer school at reduced rates as well as other events such as study days.

• The opportunity to submit work to the National Associations Exhibition

• Entitlement to a reduced rate subscription to the Journal ( National Associations publication), if ordered by the January meeting.

The current membership fee is £25 annually. For new members joining after July the fee is reduced pro rata.

At most sessions there is a sales table with 10% of the proceeds going to the Guild funds. You are welcome to bring items to sell.
